    Still learning !!

    Hi all

    Im still a bit of a newbie with new cars and modifications (used to the classic cars) im just wondering what gearbox would be in my car. My car is a 1.6 16v SXI Y reg ??? would this be the F18 and can i get a short shift set up for this gearbox ?

    same as the 1.4

    F18 was for the 1.8 and 2.0

    great thanks m8, Im ganna check up on how good/bad the F17CR is and see if there are any mods i can do to this.

    Well i had my car for 5.5years and did cicra 55K miles (was on 100K when i got rid of the car) and never had any trouble

    Although at 100K miles the car was still on the original clutch so perhaps i was a bit too gentle
