    Retrim Prices

Trying to see what sort of money I would be looking at for the following

Retrim all seats front and back
    Retrim roof cloth
Retrim/paint pillar plastics and boot plastic things.

I am basically wanting to make anything in the car that is cream/white to be a darker grey/black, Im not all that fussed on leather so cloth the same as the seats are at the minute would do me just fine.

Thanks for any advice with this.

It depends who you use and what you're looking for really.

Basic cloth retrim could be something like £150 per front seat and £200 for a bench. Alcantara will be the most expenive as in a lot of cases it's more p/m than leather

Are those prices based on me just handing the company the seat or would that be dropping the car off? I know its hard to say but I am trying to get a ball park figure in my head as it will probably be at least 6 months before I do this.

The fabrics and comfort of the current seats etc is fine for me and the only reason I want to change it is the colour, I might just replace the seats with some of the later sri seats as mine are the early sport seats with the red squares so this might save me a few quid.

I'd pull the seats out yourself and take everything loose to the trimmer. When i wanted my Recaros trimming in leather, and heating elements adding, plus the bases tack welding i was quoted £500 a piece

A headlining will prob cost you about £50 - £100

Hmm, heating elements now there is an idea! Was it much more expensive to get them heated?

Will keep that in mind about the headlining, I suppose thats not too bad, the interior will be coming out soon anyway for sound deadening but the retrim will a while after but i suppose I could do it in stages, I am sure I could live without an interior for a while.

Its legal to drive about with just the front seats in isnt it, oh and the dash of course, that wont be touched.

I did for about 6 months, in which time it passed it's mot!

I did about 2 months with just a drivers seat and a steering column, no dash or anything!

Heating elements vary in price. There are some better more modern ones now which instead of using a wire element, use a a carbon pad which means you can cut it to any shape you want and it will still conduct.

If you just want cloth seats for now you're better off searching for a set of standard seats, no sense paying to retrim them twice.
Give Phil @ AA a call ref the headcloth/pillar trims, you've seen his work on my car. May not be the cheapest, but will certainly be one of the best.
He can also fit heated seats for you as well. I've added it to my car, wouldn't be without it now.
