Looks like it worse than I thought!

I just had another look at the damage after my crash yesterday and the front crash bar is not only bent, but cracked too. And it pressing on the fan in front of the radiator preventing it from turning. Theres also a slight dent in the front of the bonnet that I didnt notice yesterday. Heres some more pics.

As you can see in the first pic the radiator is bent/curved. Is it supposed to be like this?

    Cheers.

Nope... Not at all I'm afraid, looks like you'll need a weld, new rad and all the trimmings around that area, not sure if a weld on the slam panel is adequate though to get it back onto the road...

    How old is the motor?
N.b. any opinitons expressed above should be ignored and considered 'ramblings', under no circumstances should they be relied upon...

Crash Bar unbolt's so just replace that, it's made to absorb energy and to bend/deform/crack.

Not sure if the Aircon rad is ment to be like that, I wouldn't have thought so but if it's not leaking i wouldn't replace it.

It's an easy sort, you could sort it for £150-200 with bit's from from a scrap car.

Slam panel is just a bolt off, bolt on job so that's easy enough.

The rad isn't supposed to be like that and I would replace it regardless of problems or not. As Kris has said, £200 should see you right with it
