long nose pliers mate using the top of the clip as leverage, cos all you need to pull out is the long bit, the big round bit stays there until the long bit is pulled out! if that makes any sense whatsoever!!

    Hi,
I always use side cutters to get them out, ease them out gently use the side cutters for a little bit of leveridge on the subframe and try to to grip too hard as you will cut the head off. side cutters are good as they get in there good and you don't butcher the clip.

    Hope this helps

Just grip the thin part with long nosed pliers and pull like ****. THey will be very stiff. I just tapped mine in a little bit less when refitting as all they do as expand the bit that they hammer into, holding everything in place.

You can buy new ones if you fubar them - mine only lasted 2 or 3 times on and off.

Don't suppose you have a part num or a name for them?

I was considering buying in smoked headlights, so will need to drop the bumper for it. I'd rather buy some of these in in case i break them, so that they're there for use then. If i don't need them then great, if i do, then i'll have come prepared.

You can buy little expanding things which i use instead of them as i bloody hate them, with these you just push them in and its sorted, Its a similar thing to a rawl plug.
