    Fk silverline coilovers

    ive recently fitted fk silverline coilovers, their sound apart from when i turn steering wheel im getting a clonk clonk noise, can any 1 help??????????

    Use the search facility on here, been covered loads of times.

    Did you use the bearings from the original strut????

    ye, but 1 of them looked in a bad way, so they need replacing, could that cure it??

    on your old suspension theres a cup that covers the top part of the shock/spring that has a ring on the top wit bearing inside.
    did you put this over your FK suspension?
    the bearings allow the suspension unit to move/twist while turning.

    in this pic the left hand 1 is how it will look when together but you may need to take it aprt for it to fit like so..



    then it all goes back to gether in this order,well shud do



    but if you have fitted it then i dunno what it could be
