Sunday morning at 7:46 on way to pick up friend for work, came up a hill, speedo read 35 at this point, speedlimit was 40, i was accelerating, but gradualy, hit the top of the hill, on the other side is a sweeping left hand bend, halfway through the bend at a guess of about 37-42mph, the back kicked out to the right, tried to recover it but then went the other way, tried to recover that, but went the other way again, now at this point im going sidewards in my lane, try to get it back straight but it spins the whole way round, now im going back wards in the other lane, hit the curb, sent the car skywards and barrel rolled in the air, car then landed straight on its roof.
Tried to get out but no doors would open. managed to get the passanger door slightly ajar then was just kicking at it from inside until there was enough room to get out and squuezed out.
came out with only glass scratches.
police officer nearly spun on same bend.
Me: "I've ****ed it propper haven't i?"
Police officer: "Mate, You've gone out in style!"
Looking at the damage, its only rood impact. Whats the best way to fix/repair this?
re-shell? or push roof out?
Was an astra sporthatch 1.6 sxi black, 05 plate.
