    Battery querey...

Hi, firstly i'm pretty sure my motor is about due a new battery - when lights/stereo/wipers etc are on i can see the dial lights almost flickering, and on start up the other day the dials twitched and it struggled!

I'm assuming this is the battery (6yrs old now)

Where is the best place for me to buy a new one? and should i be looking for something with a bit more oomph (being cabby with elec hood, heated seats etc)

    Thanks in advance

hi mate, iirc i was once told that most car batterys only tend to live around 5 years even with proper car and tlc.

ur a bit far from me but i just bought a brand new battery for my mk3 and it cost £35. proberbly best to get a nice fat heavy duty one but speak to most car shops n they can give you (normally) some good advice on what battery to get.

Go for the Vauxhall 70Ah one, you'll not get any better for the money, especially at trade club prices.

Battery's has an expected life time of 4-5 years, so i think it's time to say bye-bye to the one you got
Basically: the more Ah the battery has, the more power it can give. 70Ah should be good

awesome, so if i just write down the trade number out of the memebers section and go into vaux with that and ask for a 70Ah battery they'll sort me out? lol
