Pipercross Viper for a MK4 GSI

    Hi guys

I was wondering if anyone could help me, Ive just fitted a Collins dump valve on a stainless steel boost pipe (which i think looks and sounds awesome :-) ), however im looking at installing a induction kit and the pipercross viper VFC154 currently takes my fancy, has anyone installed one of these on their MK4 Turbos?

Ive read up on other peoples induction kits and am a bit confused as to what a 'veccy' conversion is (or something along those lines), so any explanation to this would be greatly appreciated.

    Andy

the Veccy mod is a bigger air intake pipe from a vectra cdti, i used to have a viper on mine but wanted rid of the crossover pipe so went for a 2.2 airbox. makes the engine bay look tidier and OE looking

Have ya got any pics of ur engine bay matt? couldnt i buy a stainless pipe to go from the turbo to the viper though like ive seen some people do in their engine bay?

By the way fitted the collins DV and top hat/boost pipe, (removed the spring in the recerc valve and put the spacer in) and it all works fine

pipercross are not good for turbo cars as the foam element can get sucked into the turbo if you start upping the power!

you mean a chromed cross over pipe? or like monkey boy has done? Not sure if i have any pics with the viper on, but if you look at the mk4 styling guide theres engine pics in there and at the top of the turbo engine thread

I have a courtenay/PX panel filter in my car with no problems its all down to how much oil is sprayed onto it thats all

Nah its a pipe (i presume stainless steel) from the turbo in a right angle curve straight to the side for in induction kit (if that makes sense)
