    stupid question about service jobs

right i want to change my oil but not done it before, could anyone tell me where the sump plug is, what size socket i need to get it off and how tight i have to do it up.

also with the spark plugs is there any spesific order they go in, and how tight etc?

the plugs should be pre-gapped if twin electrode, put a smear of copper grease on the threads, wind them in by hand on a long socket bar to avoid cross threading and then tighten half a turn further with socket wrench.

read up a few threads on servicing before you try for yourself. Start with easy stuff like air filter & plugs. Oil change and pollen filter probably next. Handbrake adjustment is easy, print yourself a service schedule then look up how to do each job until your confident.
