    Question Adjusting washer jets

May seem a silly question, but what's the best way to adjust them so they do more than just widdle over my wiper blades? In the past I've forced them up with a needle (old escort - didn't care!) but obviously I don't want to knacker the Astra ones.

They currently spray about 3-4 inches up my screen, even at speed. I'd prefer them to hit midway-ish.

It's O.K. better to check, get outside and freeze your t|ts off adjusting them.

Need to adjust mine, they appear to have dropped lower on the screen! Will adjust them at the weekend.

You're not kidding, there was a bloody permafrost on the car this morning, had to chip the icebergs off before I could even scrape the thing.

you dont need to, just keep checking the spray pattern whilst installing them. you wont need to touch them again.

i had to adjust my insignia ones i fitted to my astra h,damm they were hard to move sprayed them with wd40 then after 5 mins using a small flat blate screwdriver i got them just right, they use way less water to clear the screen in this weather than the original,is the insignia estate nozzle a fan and would that fit a astra h,i guess not but no harm in asking.
