Unhappy Parking your car on a hill...

So I've moved house (again) and this time my drive is quite steep... I was wondering if parking your car on a steep hill is bad for it in anyway? I park the car facing up the hill if that makes any difference...

    Any advice would be great!

Also a good tip, Turn your steering wheel, so it turns the wheels towards the kerb, hat way if either gears or handbrake fails, it will simply nudge the kerb and won't go anywhere

My driveway is on a slight incline. Seems to be OK except my clutches wear out (all 3 cars I have owned had bad clutches. Possibly driving style or maybe the reverse hill start every morning) and once I got to my car to find it had slowly rolled into the bush at the end of the driveway Make sure the handbrake holds firm, I dont leave mine in gear because the drive isnt really that steep.

i guess you are worried about oil stavation if parked on a steap incline, but i am sure as soon as the engine is turning over the oil pump is already coating all the engine parts, might be a prob if car was left for a couple of months but what are the chances of that.
