    key fob question

    rite both my keys dont work not sure wether its the batteries in both or that the battery holder has come away from the circuit board in the fob anyone know wether it would be this or just the battery

    nope
    that why im not sure lol
    if the battery is dead then obviously i need a new one but if its due to the circuit board/holder connection a battery may not help

    might be worth just checking a new batt, there about a quid in wilkos, then try resyncing the key?

    shove a bit of paper in the key to press the battery holder back against the board. tightens things up inside. worked for me in both keys.

    yer i was reading in beds northants.. etc area about the resync and then remembered the light wernt coming on lol

    Between the battery and the other side of the fob cover. There is a bit of movement in there and this just helps to keep things in situ. Also I found that sometimes if the battery was loose it would work for a few days then lose sync as the battery lost contact. Worked for the last 3 months - the longest consectutive period of workingness in 8 years!

    you mean u cant fold up a piece of paper and place it on top of the battery?

    If thats the case then I wouldnt even trust u behind the wheel!

    Mines had a piece of card in there for over 3yrs now
