    rolling road result from today

i had a power run done on my t8 coupe today i forgot to take the fuse out even after i started a thret lol. o well i am abit gutted that i forgot but always next time as this run was done as a favour so cant complain. i thought that i might of got abit more bhp but heres my results any ways

    269bhp at fly
    242.5bhp at wheels
(that only a loss of 27.7 which is mint.)

    and got 470.9 nm (347lb/ft at 3800rpm)

let me know wat u think of results i think alot of power lost due to only having 2.5 inch pre cat and decat and standard size cat back. next job i think is a 3 inch system

any help welcome why it lower then wat it should be

    thanks for looking tom

isn't that a tad low?when i last had mine dyno'd (at regal) running 3.5 with a full 2 1/4 inch system sports cat and 2 1/2 inch pre-cat,it made 292bhp 330 ft-lbs..i have now fitted a full piper 3'' so maybe very close to 300??i will have to get it on regals dyno to see what the 3'' system has done..very good torque thou!!

i thought it was low to m8. but something not right as not holding the boost wat it should only holding 16psi i but i courtenay sport actuator on over boost to like 22 like it should be not holding 18-19 like it should no boost leaks and turbo new

could it be the boost senor maybe need a 3bar?

i thought not removing the fuse would effect your results on the rr? maybe this has contributed to the figures bein low. mine o/b to 22 and holds 18 all day on standard map sensor

    same engine
will be the fuse an the ecu pulling it all back
as the ECU looks after the boost

You can loose anything between 30 to 40 bhp on a rolling road if you do not pull the fuse out, even if you have a switch fitted it does not completely turn it off so the ecu will be cutting the power and torque back. Try again another time with the fuse out.
