    I cant tell the time...

Hey all...I have had a friend of mine "who said he knew what he was doing" fit a sub and amp in my astra. Now the bloody clock doesnt work! I know it's not a major issue but it keeps catching my eye and doing my head in! Im just wondering how i could get it working again! I honestley have no clue about electricals so if some could help that'd be great!

    Thanks all!

    What exactly is wrong?
Do you have any display at all? He may have unplugged it, or the backlights may have blown.

I have no display at all....usually you have the time/date and outside temp on it but it's nothing! Just a blank screen!

It's unlikely to be a fuse. If it was you would have other things not working as well.
Does it light up at all when you put the lights on?

Might just be the backlight bulbs, or the plug not refitted properly.

turn ign on and shine a torch into the display - see if u can make out the digits etc

if so this will prove its just the bulbs that have blown

if no display whatsoever then its something else

i assume u mean its not working when the lights are OFF and ignition on? and not just a case of the dimmer wheel being knocked when lights on....sorry but have to ask!
