    Is this right?

OK so my car was involved in an accident a week or so ago and its going to be a write off.

I spoke to the engineer yesterday who said i can come get my interior out etc before they take it off for storage. He said let me know when your done so i can make arrangeents.

Today he ring me and tells me the car has been moved from Bristol (where i live) up to bloody Rugby and if i want my stuff out i will have to go up there and get it?

I still have all car documents etc so is it not theft that they have moved my vehicle so far without my permission when they said they would keep it there until further notice?

The car is still your's, until a pay out value is agreed and the claim is settled.

    Demand it returned to Bristol.

I had this with my first car, was involved in an accident, informed the insurance of where the car was recovered too
The next day when i went to get my stuff out the car i found out the car had been picked up and taken too Carlisle, 30 miles away from me.

It might not be as far away as your is but i demanded it returned and they had too as the claim hadn't even been processed.
