Does your volt meter have a amp meter on it because your next step is to test the current drain on the car

    Alternator outputs sound fine

Most digital multimeters have both volts and amp test on them

Just thought I'd chip in, have had the same problem the last few weeks, thought it was battery but brought it inside and gave it an overnight charge a few days ago and its been fine since, although i have noticed its started to crank slower the last day or so which makes it look like the battery isnt charging correctly. Have checked for a drain while the cars off and there isnt any at all so think the alternator isnt charging properly...

No drain what so ever, not even 0.05amps or less?

It's hard to say what charge it would loose but a current drain of less than 0.05amps would see the car start fine after 5 days

In my experience a drain of 0.2amps will flatten a battery in 2 days

Other factors to consider is the type of driving you do. If at the moment it's just 10 minute drives here and there then at this time of year you'll have your lights on, heated rear window, blowers etc which all put load on your charging system so that the battery isn;t getting a full charge from short journeys
