    Z20xev inlet cam?

can some 1 clear this up for me is this the same as a regal hi torque inlet cam?

if so i think i read about timing half a tooth which doesnt make sense.any time i have dialed my own highlift cams in i use a setting in degree's which is at full lift.

    for example

    108 degree's btdc

so basically if u run a xev inlet cam wot is the setting in degree's when using a vernier pulley???

It's been said on mig and max boost website that it's 7 degrees and the lines on a vernier is equal to 2 degrees, it's like the regal cam but the regal cam doesn't need retarding. I have an xev cam in mine retarded 1/2 tooth

Put the cam in TDC, tension up the cam belt, crank the engine round twice back to TDC to check it moves freely. Undo the bolts on the vernier and crank it backwards to the 3/4 mark on the vernier and tighten the bolts up again. crank the engine twice again to check it moves freely

An for 1 whole tooth without a vernier pulley, just turn the cam back 1&1/2 teeth before slipping the belt on it

Never had it on the rollers mate so can't say it pulls harder to the red line though never seems flat anymore when pushed hard
