good old stella 2night
I still can't drink as i'm still on the migraine pills
I'm still recovering from a bit of a heavy night yesterday. Taken me about 2 hours to drink a pint of cider lol!
I did find that the preventative tablets made me a bit depressed (Pizotifen), glad I only tried one course.
Since cutting out caffeine I've been 99% migraine free.
I was starting to get light headed & my vision was a bit hazy off 1/2-to-a-full bottle of Magners the other week though. Wondered what was going on at first, then i realised i'm not supposed to drink. lol. Cider gets me wasted quick, but not THAT quick.
May have to look at trying de-caff. I don't drink a lot of coffee, but it's an interesting thought.
Thing is though, my migraines are strange. They hit every 6-7-8 days. They did that for 8 weeks out of 9 until i went on these pills. Bit odd when they're as predictable as that.
It really is worth knocking out caffeine completely, even decaf has caffeine in, with some decaf's having less/more than others. The caffeine withdrawl is the major migraine trigger, cocoa solids also contain a chemically similar compound to caffeine, so for some this can also trigger the same migraine symptoms. Caffeine is also in lots of drinks, not just Cola, so worth looking in to, same goes for many off the shelf painkillers too.

I think the combination of lots of triptans initially (I was getting 4-5 migraines a week) then going on to the pizotifen stuffed me up, my personality changed quite a bit even though I hid much of it from others.
