    Heater Control Panels - interchangeable?

I've removed aircon compressor and radiator from my car, whicj as some you may have read has givin me me a non stop fan.

What i would like to know is now that I have removed my aircon bits, can i swap my heater controls for the 2 button non AC type?

The reason i ask is that i have the later type 3 button AC panel with the horizontal pins on the rear -------

Is it possible to replace this or do ALL the non AC units have the vertical pin connectors? |||||||||||||

Mine is a 2001 coupe and IIRC it was Post just about then that they aere changed.

    Cheers

Looks like the Behr version of the control panels share the same connector and pin out but the Delphi doesn't. The Behr has a long connector with fat wires in and a lump off it with thinner wires

Changine the box is quite easy if it's a like for like swap. It's when you want to swap an old for new or vice versa, which is the situation i now find myself in that is the difficult part.
