    Loud Music

What are peoples thoughts on loud music?

I play my music very loud, I live in an apartment block, I play it no later than 9-10pm or before lunch time no matter what day it is. Neighbours have never said anything to me either and I do it most days for the last year.

Are my neighbours too scared to say anything or maybe they just dont care?

Or maybe its not as loud as I think?

Has anyone else thought much about this, or do you get annoyed my noisy neighbours?

I don't have that trouble, but if I did then I'd definately say something about it.

Personally, I don't like it too loud.

Perhaps you could knock on your neighbours doors and ask them if they have any problem with your playing music that loud. If they do, act on it. If they don't, happy days.

Doesn't mean you should be making enemies out of them does it?

Not trying to get all biblical and self-righteous on you here mate but treat others as you want to be treated. It's pretty easy to tell when you're playing music at such a volume that it would be intruding/annoying to neighbours. Just think about whether you would want to have to put up with it or not.

If in doubt then turn it down a bit - personally if I suspected that I may be disturbing my neighbours peace and quiet than I would be turning my music down.

Im not trying to make enemies out of it, I just like to listen to music at this volume, ideally I would have it louder but im not that inconsiderate.

I wouldnt mind someone playing loud music as long as it isnt late or earl, but I am not sure how others feel about this.

..which is why you should ask them.

No point in asking us how we feel about it because we can't hear it can we? Ask the people who're suffering.

Depends. Sometimes i like it loudISH, but generally i like it listenable.

If i had neighbours, i wouldn't play it stupid loud. I don't have neighbours & tbh i don't play my music loud anyway.

In the car i guess it depends on speed. If it's motorway i could have it a bit louder. 20-30 town traffic & it'll be quite quiet.

I remember being behind a young scrote one day & his music was so loud you could see the windows & rear-view vibrating. My instant thought was - tit! I was a fair bit behind him & it felt & sounded like i was sat on top of a nightclub speaker.
