    Astra H 2004 1.7 CDTi Z17DTH Turbo Problems

Well my partners car has just passed the 78k mark and this morning the turbo started whistling lik a fire engine

I'm in the middle of removing it....anybody know if the turbo is directly fitted to the exhaust manifold?

    Also anybody attempted this b4?

Lastly anybody know where to source replacement turbos from?

Well i can only assume from the lack of power, oil usage and noise.

    Anyhow, car has done 78000

I have removed the turbo but need one of those stupid sockets Torx to remove the CAT.

Doesnt feel smooth running so can only assume bearing has failed. will keep all updated.

there was some oil in the air pipes and throttle body

Anybody know Torque Settings for the Astra or do i need to buy a Haynes manual.

Also taking the manifold to have 2 of the bolts drilled out - they broke when removing them - connection of the Toyko Radiator - First time i've seen this what does it do?
