    V maxx droplinks

I had a set of V maxx coilovers fitted a couple of weeks ago, and as they have settled I've got a hollow sound and knocking noises at low speeds from the front.. I have the V maxx droplinks fitted, but they seem to make the ARB very close to the chassis, can they be adjusted?

    thanks for any help!

I had the exact same set (v-maxx coilovers) and they felt horrible (no offence). They were knocking at every little bump and uneven surface. Mine were adjustable drop links which could be adjusted, but it still made a knocking noise...

If they,ve settled, you obviously set the ride height at a particular level when you fitted them for a reason, so just wind them back up to that level and see what happens.

You can buy adjustable ones from LMF for £50 notes.

I've found the ride to be not that bad tbh, better the the Racelands I had on my old car anyway, the noise is just annoying me..

Cheers Iain I'll take a look for those.. thing is I like the ride height how it is now, might put it up and see if that solves it for the moment though..

Well they tell you that you have to get these one with the Vmaxx coilies because of where the mounts are for the droplinks.. it's all confusing lol..

Had it service yesterday and the mechanic noticed something on the suspension.. where the nt on top of the suspension screws in is fine on one side but hardly screwed in on the other.. here are the pics..

should I be worried? What causes them to be different at each side?

Didn't fit the myself so I'm not sure, that would explain the difference between the two sides though.. I'll look into that, cheers
