    Cleaning headlights

    evening all,

my headlights have succumbed to the typical astra fate and the tops are very weathered and look aweful, was thinking of getting eyebrows to cover but fancy trying to clean them up first, i have tried compound and a machine polisher which dulled marks down abit and silicon spray helped but stil no where near what i want lol

anyone got any ideas of what to use and how to do it??

According to a friend, the lens is lacquered. So it's a case of removing it, stripping off the old lacquer slowly without scratching it and re lacquering it
