    Unhappy Engine misfiring

Hi im a newbie in need of some help.i have a mk4 astra which is fully converted to gsi turbo spec (z20let). I was driving yesterday and the car started pulling back upon accelerating, then cleared and after giving it a little stick i eased off the accelerator and heard some rather loud clicking (kind of like the spark jumping from the plugs) and after that my car is now running on 3cylinders.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it.

    Many thanks
    Chris

Well how about try disconnect the batter for half hour to clear the codes then take it for a short drive and do the test again

then list the codes if there are any

oh and what spark plugs do you have in the car ?

was it low on fuel???? if it was and you have given it some stick, you could of melted the pistons, however its unlikely as its normally cylinder 3 that goes! if you have no compresion then its either, rings, pistons or valves that have given in.

also, what area are you from, someone may have a quick look over it for you!!!
At the end of the day, it gets dark!!!!!
