    Standard D/V

    Hi All,

What syptoms would i have if the standard D/V has a split in the diaphram? its a Z20Let coupe turbo. i get a hesitation just as the boost kicks in, tried rear and front BCS and when i changed the front it made it less noticable. Courteney said it could the diaphram in the OE value. How easy is it to check if damaged?

    Cheers

Its not easy if you have not do it before. You can do it with a cut down allen key and a small rachcet and extension for the other two bolts. takes about an hour first go then 30 mins when you know how. tip is to remove the one closest to the radiator first then the other two with the extension socket.

    This wont work danny,
Otherwise you would see a leak in a boost gauge

I checked your OE D/V by sucking on the pipe and it was opening and closing properly!
