    F17 gearbox, what oil?

I'm going to change the gearbox oil, but what kind of oil do i need?
Checked from AutoData, but it only gives a Opel part number, no viscosity grades or anything

Standard GM oil is SAE 80

The last time I changed gearbox oil I used a fully synthetic 75w-85 grade Castrol SMX-S - worked perfectly fine and was actually cheaper than the GM stuff

The next brand Ill be using is Royal Purple Synchromax as Im a big fan of their range

SAE 80 will be more than adequate though
