    Go Karting interest?

Who would be interested in doing some go karting towards the end of January? It would be in Banbury and will cost between £25-£50 per person depending on what we want to do. A grand prix style event needs between 6-12 people, or there is arrive and drive sessions.

Minimum age for drivers is 15 incase your planning on bringing kids. Its indoor so no need to worry about weather. Brand new venue (its not open yet!). Not sure how quick the karts are, but here is the spec of them, which means nothing to me,

    Honda Wet clutch engine
    Belt drive
    Tillett seat Black GRP
    Double flip over pedals
Remote fuel ( centre mounted 8.5 ltr )
    Remote exhaust under axle cover
    Full wrap around
    Inboard spoiler
    Taper bearing Stub axle system
    Sliding seat

I like the sound of this for sure, I'm sure I'll be able to book time off work if I have enough notice of the date,

Oh and "Full wrap around".... is that like a reach around but warmer??

I may be interested in this one, depends when it is.

These "corporate" karts are definately much slower than the likes of a Rotax kart, but still, have loads of fun in them. I think the full wrap around thing refers to the fact it has a metal "fender" all the way round the kart to help limit damage to kart and pods on the kart.

If we do the grand prix they will supply a trophy + a 50% off voucher for your next visit. But we could think of something else as well

Its on the prodrive estate just as you enter it, opposite Alex Lawrie if thats what it still is. I only heard about it as a mate had the job to install there phone lines, then drove past today and they have a sign up on the building.
