Will this manifold fit my x16xel?

    Hi Ladies and Gents

Would anyone be able to enlighten me if this will fit my engine?

    Thanks!

yes, it would fit as the engines are the same so the holes would line up nicely. Im unsure how well it would align with the rest of the exhaust under the car as Im sure the corsa takes a different route around the sump to the astras but I could be wrong. for that price its worth a shot anyway
It would definitely go better with an engine in it

with modification of your existing cat pipe it will be possible to join this to your system, just check it has the lambda hole for your O2 sensor. i have had a few exhaust bits from these people in the past and they have often been a poor fit and boy do they rot fast

    Woah thanks

Thats really not great about the rot

It says on the ebay add that the EGR valve becomes redundant with the manifold.

And i dont see any holes for the o2 sensor either

Have had second thoughts on the sportex one and was thinking along the lines of the hot tuning one as its designed for the astra and looks better too! ---

Although.. if i were to fit the sportex what sort of work would does modifiying the cat pipe involved?

    Cheers

its always best to got one specific to your car, the Corsa manifold flange would have been OK but as mentioned chances are it would not have aligned with the rest of the system.

The main diffenrce between the two e-bay items you posted is that the latter is a stainless steel system which will last longer than the aluminised steel one in the first link

the 'hot tuning' one is much better, it has the lambda hole too, by the way the sportex one only makes the EGR redundant on the corsa as they are the old vacuum exhaust manifold mounted type EGR, whereas your Astra has it's EGR in a different location
