    will i notice any difference

    hi there ive got my gsi in to get my cat taken out i already have the miltek down pipe and non res cat back just wondering if will i notice any difference and were thanks

    probably end up running lean get it remapped mate

    i have both cats removed and mine runs lean. after bypassing the OE DV its running rich and spitting alot of flames, so as said above by karl, i would get it mapped.

    You wil also get a light on the dash mate and it wont pass its mot.
    Vxr turbo with 360 bearing and twin oils seals & Evoms dv. Cdti airbox 63mm tophat.Milltex cat back and pre cat.. Regal 245 leh phase 1 ipf remap.Whiteline rarb.

    decatted mine totally and no lights, ran fine too, made it slightly more responsive.

    But then i had it remapped and it was looovely. zooom.

    hmm is running lean bad?as i dnt really have the money to get it mapped yet does de-catting it make it any quicker?

    NOT YET. It may take up to a few hundred miles before the light came on, good luck.

    the lights will/should come on unless there is something wrong with the light as the reading through the lamda's will be all wrong and also it wont pass a MOT at a genuine garage

    The EML will come on and an error code will be logged if the ecu sees the difference between the two lamda sensor is outside the the set range.
