    Engine cuts out

Hi there, just got an Astra 1.6 16v SXi couple of weeks ago ( 2001 ). Have noticed that it seemed to run fine but has started to run a bit lumpy and cuts out at junctions when i've been on the go for a bit. I thought it could be the Air Flow Sensor but there doesn't seem to be one fitted. ( I think it's a small air temperature sensor in it's place ). I've cleaned the throttle body as shown on this website. Any ideas??? Dale.

clean / replace the EGR valve

see how to section if ur stuck

replacement is usually the best course of action - £65 for a genuine Delphi unit on ebay (search 17200272 on ebay) or for £60-80 or so it can be deleted permanently from the ECU via vauxhall

    Personally i say replace it!

At least try and clean it first

Cheers mate, I will try and give it a clean first. Seems to be running better since I cleaned the throttle body which was a bit gunky this morning but haven't done alot of miles to work. Thanks, Dale.
