    coolant level problem

    as the title says, my trip comp keeps saying coolant leval low, checked it ok, so changed the sensor as there comon, still on, so i bridged the sensor and it goes off so thats how it has stayed, my coolant bottle is a bit dirty inside i have tryed cleaning it but didnt go well, dont rally want to buy a new bottle, anyone got any ideas.

    the float inside the tank comes off it happened to mine

    Only around £20 for the tank inc sensor from vauxhall if your cars a mk4.
    i can dig the part number out for you if you like?

    got my bottle light gone off made up, BUT
    now once warm and i give it a boot, coolant decides vanish,
    found that is coming out of the over flow on the bottle
    i have bled the system up now 3 times
    its like it has got to much preasure in the system,
    does anyone have any ideas what be causing this?

    thats not good news then
    but could the water pump cause this if its failed
    when normal dving it does not happen and there is no oil in the coolant
