    Watches

Right, i'm after a watch and seriously struggling! I was hoping for something black and not too plain and with a metal strap, but the faces are all HUGE and i've only got skinny wrists so a lot are ruled out! Anybody got any suggestions? i've looked on the usual retailers websites, so after some other suggestions around the 80-150 mark, maybe a bit more though.

    Few i've been looking at...

http://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/detail/R/6843220/ (really like this but its HUGE! 46mm face, my wrists are only 50mm wide...)

i love watches,i have 15 seiko watches all new and bought of ebay, 6 not released in uk
just measured my wrist its 65mm so i dont know what i did in my younger years to build them up!!
i like the 3rd one on your list but to keep size down i think you will have to loose the cronoghraph.

I really liked some of the Seiko's when i started looking (over 2 years ago now!) but there's not much that takes my fancy now. My dads 20 year old seiko still keeps better time than his newish Tag does so he rates them pretty well too.

As much as the chrono doesn't interest me, a lot of them do look plain without them but as you said it's the effect on size that's the main thing so i'll look specifically for some without and see what takes my fancy, so good idea!

Yeah that's what i meant anyway, girth isn't much of a comparison to the diameter of a watch face!

I've steered clear of all the fashion brands in favour of watchmakers, although to be fair i don't know who manufactures the others.

amazon threw up about 3000 results last time I looked but might have another scan through.
