    Question Astra red top injector questions

    Can any one give me some direction? I have a mk4 and have put a red top 2,0 engine in it.i have 2 sets of injectors that come with the engine 1 set blue and 1 set grey/white what is the difference?.

    The difference will be the rate in which the injectors will deliver the fuel..... You will need to find out the fuel flow rates of each set of injectors!....

    Do a search on migweb for more info

    Early XE (dizzy) - SHOULD be running creams with a 2.5bar reg
    Late XE (dizzyless/coilpack) - SHOULD be running blues with a 3bar reg

    As long as you're still running Motronic standard management (regardless of whether you have a superchip or not) the XE will ALWAYS perform the best with the injectors that it came from the factory with.

    A common mistake people make is to put the blue injectors on the early engines thinking they will go faster as they have more fuel. The opposite is true and with no extra air coming in the engine runs too rich, loses power and in extreme cases you can end up with bore wash
