    Lowering 1.7 CDTi

    Hey! Ive recently brought a astra mk5 5 door 1.7cdti, would i be able to fit lowering springs off a mk5 5 door 1.6? i know they would fit but will they be safe?? cheers

    OR will the 3 door h sxi springs go on a cdti 1.7 5 door lol cheers

    I think diesel springs are stiffer than petrol ones as the engines weigh more, hence the 2 types of spring (petrol/diesel engined) so I dunno if nicking some springs off of a petrol car will be a bit dodge?

    I got my springs from LMF Vauxhall for my 1.7cdti, had them the next day after ordering
