    Undergraduate at Vauxhall

I've just applied for an undergrad placement for next year to work at Vauxhall in Ellsemere Port. Does anybody know what its like working for them? Or what to expect in terms of interview procedures or assessment centres etc?

Really hope I get the job! Wish me luck

What's one of them mate? as above, is it some kind of new name for a management course? or tea boy?
all the best in getting the job though, but the way things are it seems unlikely they will be taking many on, even if GM has decided to keep GM Europe after all.
dont want to put a dampener on it by all means, good luck tho

An undergraduate placement is for university students going to work in their prefered area of work for a year in the middle of their (sandwich) course.

I was just wondering if anybody had done it or worked there and what to expect. Worth asking I thought.

I applied for a placement last year but obviously due to the financial climate nobody was really hiring... i know a few people that got the final interview stages at vauxhall but then failed to get the job... you'd be doing the same work as whatever department you are working in... i.e. they won't nanny you after the first month, they'll expect you to be like a normal employee
