    InSP

Hi folks. Just had InSP come up on my display. From what I've read on here, this means the car is due a service. Now, having bought it a couple of months ago, and only done around 350--400 miles since, could this be a case to just reset and ignore, or should I check with the Vauxhall dealer who sold it to me.
The car was, allegedly, serviced before it left the garage. All the boxes in the service book were ticked!!
Motor is a 58 plate 1.7 CDTi. Current milage is around 15400 approx.

Cheers domino. Might just do that. Reckon the dealer didn't reset something when it was serviced.
Might 'phone them, let them know what I intend doing, and if they say OK, then if it all goes t**s up I should be in the clear.

Mine appeared on Monday morning, glad I popped into the garage last Friday morning to book it in for the service - good to be one step ahead.

I think resetting the InSP, you insert key, push brake pedal, hold the mileage reset and turn the key to stage 2 (?) then it flashes and the InSP disappears to "----". Pretty sure this is what I read the other day when I was looking on the forum.

Above is correct though you don't need to press the brake pedal.

    Oh right, ok wasn't sure.

Had seen someone write instructions on how to do it, then someone added a post or two down, "press the brake pedal as well".

Hoping mine will be reset after the service tomorrow. Have given my Mum clear instructions when she collects the car to make sure its all reset for me - don't see why I should have to do it myself, and going to be paying the garage plenty of money to do the service anyway
