    water pump issue

    rite guys jst did my timing on my astra turbo and did the water pump lik u guys said jst wonding cos the the guy who did it said the water thats on there looks lik an uprated 1 or beta because it has a metal propeller and the new one i had frm vaux has a plastic one

    any clues on this
    Astra gsi turbo Black = z20leh forged courtenay sport stage 4 with there uprated clutch,lightened flywheel 3ch exhaust = very happy bhp

    the new one you have should be better, it is the older ones that tend to suffer failure of the bearing/jamming up and throwing off the metal impeller, causing damage to the engine

    mine was the same when i changed mine! old one was metal but the new one was plastic! been on a few years now and its fine!!

    New VX ones are now plastic mate.
