    01 astra 1.7 ls dti

I have an 01 vauxhall astra 1.7 ls dti. I only bought this car few weeks ago driving spot on, no problem's,sailed through the mot, and yesterday a water hose came of the intercooler and i just realised the inside of the hose is caked in oil, black oil in the water bottle and all, just reading on here it could be the oil cooler? rather than the head casket. i put block sealer in through it and is still driving spot on no trouble no loss of power or over heating, is this oil something to be worried about or is this normal.
