sold my last 2 on Ebay
plus points your getting lost of exposure
down sides you have people offering half a shilling and they want change from that too
Ebay take a big chunk of the final sale fee too

Lee this is just my experience but i would leave ebay to last.
Try other avenues first-autotrader/piston heads other websites/clubs etc.
Ive advertised 3 cars on ebay and only sold one with the auction ending.
All have been bad experiences and a lot of hassle.
Idiots offering stupid money and winding me right up, people say that they want to view the car and then dont turn up etc etc and they are allways the same type of peopleLike i said just my experience mate.
    hope that helps.

I agree with Deany... I've had good and bad experience with ebay and would leave it as a final option...... Plus you get a lot of dreamers who end up not paying/collecting and you're left with having to pay the final value and listing fees without a proper sale!!!!

If its got pistons or tits, its gonna be expensive!!

Out of the 4 cars before the Astra that i've owned, i've put 2 up for sale & scrapped 2.

The 2 i put up for sale, i only stuck a sale sign in the back 3 windows & the first viewer bought the car both times. I just drove around with the sale signs in the window.

In fact, for the 1st car, i didn't even drive it about. I left it on a private car park which has limited numbers of people on it. So i hit pretty lucky actually.

Personally i'd try not to bother with the bay. Especially with the fees they'd likely bend you over for.

Sold my old 106 on there. Within a day I had one offer, in cash and would collect nextday. I was careful, but turned up with loader. paid in full cash and hassle and very happy customer!
Couldnt be fussed, for ebay sale (sold few things) this probably must easiest sale i have ever done!
