Hi everyone just looking for some tips about my slightly annoying problem...
First of all a bit of background.. have replaced front bcs due to it not holding boost at top revs which sorted that... i thought was all fine. i then went to a tuner and got a remap, nothing huge just to 230bhp.
when it was put on rolling road he said my bhp was 150bhp but my torque figure was pretty spot on... and before any1 says about it being dodgey rollers it isnt as there were a few standard cars going on it and modified ones making steady figures.
To my point ive got a rough idea that the astra gsi boosts up to 10psi and then holds at 8 psi, am i right?
Well thats what mine was doing anyway with no visibile faults showing up ...
Since the remap ive got it holding at 14 psi (233bhp and 253 torque)
But ive been having the spanner light and ive plugged into the ecu and the fault code p1106 comes up... ive done my research and read all through saying it could be front/rear bcs, afm, map sensor...
Front bcs and map sensor has been changed, so hopefully not them?
Just wondering what it could be?
Car is running the enlarged courtney silicone pipe from turbo connected to cone filter but with standard afm not the 80mm one. Could this be a factor? i think its a long shot personally. i have also extended the afm cables using crimps but it worked fine with standard map before and have double checked connections i made and all are fine.
Any help welcome... Thanks
