to do a brake fluid change, use the two man method and pump through 1 bottle of dot 4 or dot 5.2 this will ensure that you have an entire clean system with fresh fluid. the procedure is LH rear/RH rear/LH front/RH front. fill reservoir, get someone to pump brake pedal for you and open each nipple in the sequence as above whilst the pedal is held down allowing old fluid to run out and then lock off nipple and release pedal, do this 6 times on each corner until you get to the front right hand nipple, then keep pumping out from this one until you have used all the fresh fluid from 1 bottle and then top up to 'max' using the other bottle.

no need to use that much fluid. 1L will be plenty to change all four. never heard of dot 5.2.

Andy the fluid i use is better than dot 5.1 and its only dot 4. £15 per L and it has a high boiling point.
