Got an idea for T8s front bumper, comments please

ok, i got a fmic that is being fitted soon. i need to trim the slats to get the bumper back on and fitting nicly. I was thinkin, cut the slats right out (do it nicely, filled, repainted etc) and put some mesh over the hole. Was going to spray the mesh the same color as my wheels. Think this will give better airflow to the cooler as well??

not a great picture but u can see the slats on the bumper.

Let me no what u think of this idea, maybe a photoshop will help?? anybody??

    cheers
