I am thinking of removing the main cat, and I know it will bring up the EML on with a fault code. Well, since the main cat lambda sensor isn't used for fuel or air calculation, only determines whether the exhaust gases are clean or not. Hope I am right on that one....
Is it possible to somehow trick the ECU using the existing wiring loom that the lambda was jacked to by sending it certain voltage making it think that the main cat is still present? Or perhaps a different solution?
