Can anyone TECH2 my car please?

I've got a P0302 error flagged from the pedal test, misfire on cylinder 2 (Z16XE, issue on petrol only), running on 3 cylinders on petrol so far as driving quality and engine sound goes.

Rather than start to randomly change parts, I believe a TECH2 system can give a live readout of the fault to pinpoint the faulty part? If this is correct, can anyone fit me in for a TECH2 in exhange for coffee/tea/beer/food?

I dont know what it'll tell you to be honest, unless you know what range each sensor should read out its not going to tell you what the cause is, I'd try the usual mechanical approach...

Check condition of spark plugs, if all look fine and cyl 2 is no different to the others then-

Swap plugs, if 2's gone then it'll show a failure in whatever cylinder you put it in, if no change then-

Possibly coil pack, check there is a current going through it if you have the necessary kit then-

Maybe the injector is blocked, remove clean and swap positions (as for the spark plugs above, same reason)...

I've also heard - Coolant temp sensor problems, MAF problems...
N.b. any opinitons expressed above should be ignored and considered 'ramblings', under no circumstances should they be relied upon...

You will be able to see all 4 readings from the injectors etc and see if any one or 2 are different.

If it were plugs then LPG would be playing up too, but as it is only petrol which has the misfire then I do think it is injectors - PM sent Lee.
