    Smile Which engine?

im curently converting a 1.6 five door sxi astra into a show car.
i want to change the engine as a 1.6 hasnt got enough guts and looks 4 what i want.
i have norword it down to two enignes but what is best about both?

the 2.2 engine or the 2.0 turbo eninge.

i have a 888 coupe turbo but have been told its a diff engine to the normal 2.0 turbo fitted in sri's and gsi's.

so not sure witch one is best so any help would be good

The 2.0 turbo in your 888 is the same as any bog standard 2.0 turbo....

depends on the type of show car you want something that is nice to look at just want a little more power to get it to and from shows then a 2.2 could be a answer as it will be cheaper to run etc but if you wnat something you can run around the trakc and the rest of the show car can take being raged about then a turbo is the way forward

last option is if oyu wnat a true show car that looks good and has something different about it then a vectra vxr engine is the way forward
