Today as I am stuck indoors working I thought I would try my luck at some yeast recipies
So went to the waitrose recipie guide website and typed in the ingredients I had.
I pointed me to hot cross buns!
I've never used yeast before so didnt know what to expect. So after it fermented(had a nice frothy head) I made the dough.
So constantly kneading, waiting kneading, cutting, waiting I am left with these bad boys:
I was a bit surprised about how much the mixture makes so I fell short of baking trays
need to wait until they rise a little longer, then into the oven and warm hot cross buns.
Anyone else loving baking?
