I had 15mm Eiback Pro spacers on my rear wheels, but after wrecking the paint on my arc and wrecking my tyre i've decided to have them turned down to 12mm.
I gave them to my mate who works at an engineering shop. He clamped one up in his lathe and he'd only taken 0.001mm (1 thou) off the face. He went right up to the radius where the face meets the spiggot and the spiggot has broken free.
I now have a 14.99mm spacer that is no longer hubcentric.
Do spacers over a certain thickness have to be hubcentric or will I be ok to run flat 12mm spacers?
The only other option I have is boring out the centre of the spacer and making a floating collar that locates over the original sgiggot, through the spacer and into the wheel
