    Oil low light

My trip computer keeps coming up with oil level low about 6 times on a 12 mile journey, I keep checking it and the oil is full. No error codes on the pedal test, but as it is a zlet is the oil pump on the way out or just a sensor problem?

Typical, mines the otherway round, the other day I checked the oil and it hardly even registered and it didn't tell me it was low!

Ye mate get the pump checked straight away, the last thing u want to do is starve ur turbo of oil, If i had the turbo id get it hooked up to the PC to find out exactly whats going on with it

this is totally different to what this thread is about

this thread is about the warning on the MFD on the trip computer models

if you're getting this low oil level warning virtually continuously then you have a duff sensor

do as Andy suggested earlier and give it a good clean and take it from there

The sensors get gumed up and stick. Unfortunately the sensors are fitted from the inside so the sump would need to come of to clean it properly.
