Iv had my coupe a little over a year now, after buying it completly standard it now looks like this..
Spent alot of money on the exterior with the Gsi bumper, 18" Oz superturismos etc. But iv now started to concentrate on the engine, to try get a few more horses out of it
Got the usual airbox mods with veccy c pipe, some irridium plugs and a 2.5" stainless steel cat back system with the painfully expensive lexmaul manifold and sports cat. The car feels alot better certainly revs alot easier and seems to be better on fuel, not sure why.
Anyway tomorrow im getting some piper fast road cams fitted from courtney and im stuck on what i should do next I dont know whether to go for an inlet manifold or just get the car remapped and forget about the inlet mani, it would be cheaper and i dont fancy losing any torque.
Iv heard about remaps that firstly sort out your car below 3000rpm and then above testing the car frequently to make sure its at peak performance, and then moving your rev limiter to 7250rpm. Does enyone know a company that remaps this way or have anyone to reccomend?
thanks for your comments!
