Right Indicator Flashing Fast, Not At All At Front.. Help?

Yesterday my friend wired up my sub for me, ran all the wires from the back to the front but had to drill through the box of wires at the front of the car to run the cable through to the battery. I dont think the problem was before this as I only noticed today, but inside the green signal indicator flashes really fast as does the back indicator, and the front and side repeater dont work at all.

Is it likely that hes hit a wire within that box?

If so how does the box come off, as it looks like a 10mm socket but its such a small gap one doesnt fit..

    Any ideas and suggestions please?

Yeah we tried changing the bulb, didnt work. I need to get in that box though to check the wires and cant seem to get a socket in there? All the other lights are working, but because its a box full of wires, its bound to be within there that the problem lies!

unlucky, sounds like a complete nightmare.

A Soldering iron and a bit of heatshrink should have it sorted though

Bit late now but NEVER drill through that box. It's the main connector between the engine and dash and i'd be surprised if it's just the indicator wire thats damaged/ broken

Yeah when I realised where he was drilling through I thought it wasnt right, where was the better place to run the cable through for future reference?

Im going to get it looked at where I work, and hopefully it can be repaired. If the whole box needs replacing its gonna be bloody expensive!

The box is part of the dash and under bonnet wiring loom so not easy to replace

Places through are either the spare grommet on the drivers side thats used for the throttle cable (when you car doesn't have one) or drill a hole in the metal behind the glovebox to the right of that box.

Have a search and both locations are shown with pictures
